Mark Boutros is a filmmaker, writer, day job hustler and founder of The First Contact Film Festival. Mark started curating films in the back room of the now defunct Enigma Bookstore in Astoria, Queens. Those screenings were the seeds that became First Contact. Mark is the director of photography for several short films including Identity Check and The Bookworm.

Most recently Mark wrote and directed Dutch, a biographical romantic comedy which is currently making the circuit rounds.
